Directions

The New Egypt Historical Society is located on the outskirts of downtown New Egypt, next to the Municipal Building. It's easy to get to:

From the New Jersey Turnpike:

Take exit 7A (Shore Points). After paying toll, take Interstate 195 East to Exit 8 (Hightstown/Allentown), make a right after leaving exit (towards Allentown) and travel on Route 539 South. After crossing the bridge by the Black Forest Restaurant, be aware that you will need to make a left to continue on Route 539. Stay on this road until the first traffic light (about 8 miles) and make a right onto Route 537 West. At the first traffic light, make a left onto Evergreen Road. The New Egypt Historical Society will be on your left, between the New Egypt Primary School and the Municipal Building. From the Garden State Parkway:

Take exit 98 and follow directions for Interstate 195 West to Exit 8 (Hightstown/Allentown), make a right after leaving exit (towards Allentown) and travel on Route 539 South.
